da Vinci, in a nap, fantasizes about turning into a bug growing wings on the back to join a swarm of bees collecting honey. A dog with wings? Bees fly over in groups to scare da Vinci off. The dog frustratingly goes past a huge tree and his eyes light up all of a sudden because he finds hundreds of thousands of fireflies in the tree. Once again da Vinci grows wings on the back and takes his lantern to fly around the world with fireflies. They all become part of this beautiful starry sky.

   DINO CIRCUS

In this unique 3D film "Dino Circus", you will see tyrannosaurus, brachiosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurs and pterodactyls trained by the animal tamer inside the big circus tent. Under the tamer's command, dinosaurs are able to perform different kinds of acts such as fire circles jumping, cordelisse/ rope, trapeze flight, big balls rolling, cycling and fire breathing. All the performances are definitely dramatic, and are able to make everybody laugh out loud.

A Dog named da Vinci dreams about becoming a sailor traveling around the world while sitting in the dock every day. The captain finally lets him come aboard. But as a matter of fact, he is using da Vinci as a bait to catch fishes. After going through things such as getting chased by sea dinosaurs and a big storm, they hit the pirates. da Vinci turns into a big hero by blowing up the pirate ship. However, this all is just another fantasy da Vinci has as he still sits in the dock as always..

This movie is 15 minutes in length, produced in HD3D format with quality in 1920 X 1080/24p, and AC3 surrounded sound along with 4D effects. It is expected to be lunched in July 2005, open to worldwide markets now.

I LHA FORMOSAN

I Lha Formosan is the first film ever in the world to feature stories of Taiwanese aborigines. The film evolves around the stories that Bunun hunters hunt down the legendary boar, aborigines sail across oceans to Taiwan when Taiwan Island was just formed after the Ice Age, Zheng Cheng Gong battles with the Dutch in the 17th century, and those aborigines cross through 400 years to come to the present time. The film vividly recounts the tales and adopts lots of famous Bunun folk songs as well.
 
The premier for “Ilha Formosan” took place with the re-opening of Sheng Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines’ 10-year Anniversary on April 1st, 2004. It also started its worldwide sale to different Anthropology and Science Museums from then on. The movie is 15 minutes long with dual-DVD polariscope and AC-3, 5.1 surrounded sounds.

MISSION IN UNDERGROUND

This movie is about a disaster occurring at the construction site inside the Highway Railroad tunnel which crosses through the Central Mountain in Taiwan in the year of 2030. The rescue squad is sent to the scene to make an emergency rescue, and the squad members have to bring along the proper gears and use them correctly to complete the mission. The rescue process involves all kinds of dangers such as catastrophic earthquakes, and golds left out from the Japanese during WWII are also discovered. The captain is rescued out of the well by the chopper in a big explosion, and the golds still remain hidden underground...

PAPER PLANE

Children's flying dream always starts with folding paper planes. However, paper plans normally can only fly around you within a couple of meters. In this movie, the paper plane takes you to fly above the blue sky and in the enormous cosmos, and to fly through the time tunnel on human’s history of flight. Your imagination can go just as wild as this paper plane without any limits.

It is played with the two-channel synchronizing stereoscopic system. The polarisers, 2 pieces of DVD and 5.1 surrounding effect are necessary. There are 6-minute and 12-minute versions, the 6-minute version have launched in Taipei KidsNo1 Museum on 28th June 2001.

RIVER IN SPRING: CATHAY CITY

“River in Spring” had been kept in the Forbidden City for more than two hundred years as the most precious collection from all the emperors’. During the 20th century it got moved around due to the wars, and currently it’s located in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. In 2004, YAOX earned the exclusive right from NPM to produce a 3D movie based on this masterpiece. The movie has Qian-Long play as the leading role walking into the painting to experience the past. The film has more than hundreds of thousands of characters, buildings and animals to build up and is certainly an enormous challenge for the animators.

“"Speed & Space" is the film YAOX produced for Taiwan High-Speed Rail Discovery Hall with 6 different sections including light speed, dinosaur, airplane, fairy-tale-train, "Teng Yuen", metropolis, etc. The film is filled with imagination, history and humanity, and involves lots of new animation techniques to put out a certain scenes such as romantic atmosphere of steam train and simulation of history documentary..

Isn’t insurance all about finding out the relationships between time and life!

U-BOAT

During the World War II, a German’s sub was under attack and tried to dive into the deep bottom for protection. And it got drawn into a mysterious, magnificent lost city and was surrounded with lots of glowing marine creatures. Is that the legendary lost city Atlantis? All of a sudden a giant sea monster shows up to grab the sub and the sub accidentally falls into the light beam getting transferred to the time tunnel after a series of wrestling. In the end it comes to the 14th century to meet the Zheng Ho fleet.

It is 13-minute long and takes 2 pieces of DVD and AC3 surrounding effect to play.

VIRUS TO GO

This is the 2nd 3D ride film YAOX and IOSH worked together with. The film is about SARS viruses causing heavy contamination at the airport using the convenience of travelling by air just like terrorist attacks. The film is cartoonized to portray the outrageous damages caused by the viruses and in the end human beings find the ways to solve the crisis.

PRINCIPLES OF 3D-FILM

We need both eyes to see 3D images; therefore the one-eyed pirate is the perfect instructor for this. Looking by covering either eye and then comparing what you can see with when using both eyes lets the audiences understand how we are able to see 3D in real life. Finally the pirate wears the polarized 3D glasses to see the 3D images, and he realizes there is a big cannon facing him….

This film adopts two-channel 3D projection system with polarizers, two pieces of DVD and stereo effect. The length is one minute.
