MagicPlay Entertainment is very excited to be running the first of many ad campaigns with Razor Digital Entertainment and Ingram Entertainment in the July 18 issue of, Entertainment Preview, promoting six award-winning foreign films from China. Each of these films was made over the last 3-4 years and has won international acclaim. Each DVD has been digitally remastered in their original wide screen format, has Chinese soundtracks with English subtitles and is available for the first time in America.

Asian Cinema has really taken off since the success of movies such as “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” ($128M at the box office), Hero and House of Flying Daggers. According to the May 5 issue of NEWSWEEK, Chinese films have now crossed into the mainstream and their popularity is expected to grow.

MagicPlay will be releasing a minimum of 12 award-winning Chinese films over the next eight months: these are just the first in a series of award-winning films.
